Solence
Where Reflection
Meets Play
What Solence Means
Solence draws its name from two core ideas: sol and essence.
Sol, which means "sun" in Spanish, represents warmth, renewal, and the energy that supports growth. Essence represents what defines us at our core — our inner truth, our authenticity, and what truly matters.
Together, Solence represents a space where healing and growth feel possible. A space where people can reconnect with themselves, recognize that they are not alone in certain difficulties, and move toward more authentic and caring relationships.
Mission
Our mission is to provide helping professionals with thoughtfully designed, play-based tools that make relational work more accessible and engaging. Through intentional experiences rooted in play, reflection, and connection, Solence supports the often invisible but deeply meaningful work that professionals do to guide people toward healthier relationships with themselves and others.
Meet The Founder

Khadija Campbell
As an advocate for the prevention of gender-based violence, I believe in the power of community and genuine connection. I see healing and growth as collective journeys, and I aim to create spaces for reflection and conversation that spark insight and inspire change.
I hold a DEC in Child Studies from Dawson College, a B.A. in Psychology from Concordia University, and a Certificate in Trauma-Informed Care and Counselling from the University at Buffalo. I’m currently completing training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
My experience, which spans from early childhood to higher education, along with my journey supporting survivors of intimate partner and sexual violence, has allowed me to develop an intersectional and creative approach. I aim to transform complex and sensitive topics into meaningful, accessible, and enjoyable learning experiences.
I look forward to embarking on this journey with you!
